Authorities locate runaway juvenile in Redding

UPDATE: 9:58 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 - Skye Greenway was located in the Redding area, according to the Trinity County Sheriff's Office. Authorities said she was found in good health and uninjured.

WEAVERVILLE, Calif. - The Trinity County Sheriff's Office is searching for a runaway juvenile.

Around 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 11, the sheriff's office said a 12-year-old girl identified as Skye Greenway, ran away from the area of Industrial Parkway in Weaverville.

Authorities say they have been attempting to locate Skye, however, their attempts have been unsuccessful.

Skye’s physical identifiers are referenced below, according to the sheriff's office.

  • Height: 5’1”
  • Weight: 110 Lbs.
  • Hair: Brown long
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Race: Caucasian
  • Identifying marks: None noted
  • Date of Birth: March 19, 2008
