SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. – A Shasta County man is now in jail after police said he had a dozen guns, two of which were stolen.
Deputies said Thursday afternoon, in the city of Shasta Lake, they served a search warrant for 35-year-old Jacob Pearson in his home on Grand Ave. An arrest warrant was issued for possession of a loaded and concealed handgun during an incident in August 2020, according to deputies.
Officials say they found three assault weapons, one sawed-off shotgun, and a stolen revolver and stolen rifle. The weapons stolen were reported out of Redding and Lassen County.
Pearson was arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail on various gun charges.
