We're three weeks away from election day and we've had multiple reports of campaign sign vandalism.

CHICO, Calif. - We're three weeks away from election day and we've had multiple reports of campaign sign vandalism.

Just a few weeks ago we showed you how security cameras caught vandals ripping down Chuck Reynolds signs in Oroville.
Someone wrote bigot across Kasey Reynolds signs in Chico.
Now - Alex Brown's campaign manager caught people in the act tearing down Brown's signs.

At the corner of Highway 32 and bruce rd where behind me all the campaign signs are displayed.

This is where Brown's campaign manager, Angela Cook, drove up on people taking down Brown's sign.

Cook said she was driving down bruce road when she saw two people pull brown's sign out from the ground and put it in the back of their car.

"So I pulled up right in front of their car so that they couldn't leave i knocked on the door on their window after taking some pictures and said I witnessed them steal it and I'd like them to put it back and that I intended to report them," Cook said.

Then another woman got out of the parked car... and things got violent.

"And she immediately started screaming at me and swinging at me and trying to knock the phone out of my hand she screamed at me the whole time that we were parked here calling me names flipping me off right in my face," Cook said.

Cook has been managing campaigns since 2012 and said she's never experienced anything like this.

"It made me nervous, from where I was sitting in my car it just looked like some college students so I wasn't anticipating having her come at me like that so I was a little bit put off and a little bit scared when she was screaming at me and getting all in my face," Cook said.

Alex Brown said this isn't the first time someone has tried to take down her signs.

"This is definitely the furthest it's been taken, and previously people had cut zip ties to my signs so I've had to go out to that location several times," Brown said.

Brown said her as well as other candidates are seeking to change the political climate in chico.

"It's unfortunate it's come to this in this city, I'm just glad no body got hurt my campaign manager didn't get hurt and I'm glad she was there at the right time to intervene in that situation," Brown said.

The two men involved in the crime have been identified, but Chico police are still trying to figure out who the women are... the pictures are on Alex Brown's campaign Facebook page.

Tuesday was another sunny and unseasonably warm to hot day for much of northern California. It was much like Monday, except the wind was stronger, and the wind will be much stronger through much of the next week.
