ANDERSON, Calif. - Anderson police officers arrested 50-year-old Robert Charles Walker and 46-year-old Eric Wayne Bretzke, both of Anderson on Tuesday.

Officers went to a home in 1500 block of Andrew Ave. to serve arrest warrants for both men. While at the home the officers said they saw meth and weed in plain sight in the living room.

After receiving a search warrant, officers returned to search the home. Police said during the search they found two handguns, a rifle, shotgun, meth, weed, and drug paraphernalia.

Both men are facing charges of possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a house where narcotics are sold.

Police arrested a third man they found inside the residence for being in a place where narcotics are sold. The city of Anderson responded to the scene and red-tagged the house for multiple building code violations.

Walker is on felony probation in Shasta County and has a warrantless search clause.

The welcome relief of showers will be with us this evening! They will continue to push through most places in the valley. Some places may not see some rain given their proximity to the mountains and the effects of a rain shadow
