BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - A mama bear and her two cubs were caught on camera at the Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve.

The American Black Bears were using a trail near the headquarters of the 4,000-acre reserve.

The cubs were born in the winter while mom was in hibernation in the area.

Bears frequently use the horse through by the barn to cool off in the summer.

The cameras are part of the Adopt-An-Acre fundraising campaign, where at a certain level, donors can have a trail camera placed on their acre to see who is using it.
