Highway 99 reopens after multi-vehicle crash

Highway 99 is now open in both directions at Sankey Road after a multi-vehicle collision, according to Caltrans District 3.

UPDATE 8:45 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2019 - Highway 99 is now open in both directions at Sankey Road after a multi-vehicle collision, according to Caltrans District 3.

SUTTER COUNTY, Calif.- Highway 99 is blocked northbound at Sankey Road in Sutter County, due to a big rig crash.

The California Highway Patrol is reporting that there is no estimated time of clearing and that drivers can expect heavy congestion and delays.

CalTrans tweeted that multiple vehicles were involved and that an ambulance and Airbus is on its way.
