6 coronavirus deaths reported in Shasta County Friday

There were six new deaths reported in Shasta County on Friday, according to the Shasta County Health and Human Services dashboard.

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - Six new COVID-19 deaths were reported in Shasta County on Friday, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 290.

Of those six deaths, they were a man in his 30s, a man in his 50s, a man in his 60s, a man in his 70s, a woman in her 80s and a man over 89. 

There were 114 new cases were reported Friday in Shasta County.

92 people are hospitalized in Shasta County with the coronavirus, up from 85 reported on Thursday.

As of Thursday, 48% of the population is fully vaccinated while 57.4% has received at least one dose.

Between June 21 and Sept. 21, 42 of 45 COVID-19 deaths were people who were not fully vaccinated. One of the 42 people was partially vaccinated.

Between those dates, 257 of 254 coronavirus hospitalization were people not fully vaccinated. Six of the 227 people were partially vaccinated.

All of Shasta County's numbers that were reported on Friday are statistics received on Thursday. 

There were two new deaths reported in Butte County on Friday.
