Adorable cheetah cubs make history, a mix-up leads to a demolition mistake and a reporter unknowingly goes viral. Here are the must-watch videos of the week.

When science gets cute

A pair of cheetah cubs at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio marked a historical first as they were born via in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer to a surrogate mother. The zoo is hoping this breakthrough will aid in future animal conservation efforts.

A disorderly demolition

Think you're having a bad day? Residents of a Dallas neighborhood are scratching their heads after a demolition company accidentally knocked down the wrong house. Company officials admitted their mistake and said they believe the house had been vacant since October 2019. They added they have contacted the homeowner, who lives in California, to find a resolution.

Wackier than the weather

Western North Carolina residents are trying to decide what's crazier -- the weather or this reporter's live take beside a snowy road. The reporter, who works for CNN affiliate WLOS, inadvertently activated a filter on his phone, much to the delight of social media. Watch the video above to see the endless stream of humorous faces.

A moon with a view

Ever wonder what the dark side of the moon looks like? Wonder no more. NASA has released a video showing stunning views of the moon from the perspective of Apollo 13 astronauts. The video was created using data from an orbiter to simulate what the astronauts saw during eight minutes of total darkness.

A not-so-cool development

Images provided by NASA show a shocking change to the landscape in the coldest place on Earth. Twenty percent of Eagle Island's snow cover has melted in just nine days due to an unprecedented heat wave. One expert says Antarctica is one of the regions on Earth that's warming up the fastest.
