Evacuation orders and warnings issued in Butte County

The Butte County Sheriff's Office has lifted various evacuation warnings for areas of the county.

LAST UPDATED 12:42 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019 - The Butte County Sheriff's Office has issued various evacuation orders and warnings due to extensive flooding in the county. 

The Butte County Sheriff's Office lifted evacuation warnings for the following areas: 

  • Alberton Avenue

  • Anjou Court

  • Magness Court

  • Bosc Drive

  • Richvale area, Highway 99 from Nelson Shippee Road to Highway 162

  • Taffee Avenue

  • Reavis Avenue

  • Keefer Slough

There are no areas currently under evacuation orders. 

The following areas remain under an evacuation warning: 

  • Hamilton Nord Cana Highway
  • Wilson Landing Road, Rock Creek

The last two days saw quite a bit of rain in Northern California. Today we could see more but the showers look to be more isolated today than in previous days. Highs today are expected to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s.
