Chico, Calif - Two suspects that are believed to be teenagers are on the loose after an armed robbery took place near the Student Health Center on West First Street.
This happened about 2:30 p.m., Saturday and according to a press release sent by University Police Chief John Reid it happened when the two suspects asked an individual to borrow their cell phone.
The suspects also requested the cell phone passcode and when the individual wanted their phone back one of the suspects pulled out a firearm and refused to return the cellphone.
Descriptions of the juveniles are described as:
- Both being 5’ to 5’1’
- Medium builds
- Short hair
- Dark complexion
- Teenagers or Pre-teens
It is currently under investigation by the University Police Department.
