Halloween events coming to the Chico Mall

Ghouls, goblins and ghosts were out on full display at the Chico mall Saturday afternoon.

Chico, Calif - Ghouls, goblins and ghosts were out on full display at the Chico mall Saturday afternoon.

Fairy godmother events included a Halloween costume contest for kids age 12 and under.

The contest was hosted by Growing up Chico magazine, featuring Captain America and Wonder Woman.

Children came dressed up in their favorite Halloween costume.

Categories included babies to 4-year-olds, 5 to 8-year-olds and 9 to 12-year-olds.

“Chico mall is very community oriented Halloween is a very big deal good time at the Chico mall,” said Lynette Myers, marketing manager for the Chico mall.

The Chico mall has a few other fun fall events happening this month.

Paint night will be on October 26 and Halloween trick or treat night will be on October 31.
