The group "Love Paradise" is coordinating a host of activities intended to beautify the town and build community, as part of Make a Difference Day.
Make a Difference Day is the largest single day of volunteerism across the county. In Paradise, it will actually take place over the course of two days ... Friday October 27th and Saturday October 28th.
There are all kinds of projects to be part of... from raking leaves and planting daffodils, to painting park benches or painting the the Paradise Firesafe Council Building.
On Friday volunteers are asked to meet at 8:30 a.m. at Hudson's Appliance on Pearson Road to learn about the projects and select the one they want to help with. On Saturday, the meeting time is 9 a.m. at either the Gold Nugget Museum on Pearson Road, or the Paradise Senior Center on Nunnely Road.
