PARADISE, Calif. - Volunteers in the Town of Paradise woke up early on Wednesday to put up at least 400 flags along a popular road to honor veterans who have served.
The tradition of putting flags along Skyway has been a long one, the most recent one - Memorial Day.
The display of flags is on the Skyway between Neal and Elliot Roads. Flag volunteers started putting the flags on the roadway at 6:30 a.m. and will be up until 4 p.m.
Action News Now caught up with a spectator about the display of patriotism.
Lloyd Frigon told us "it's really nice it's nice to see a strong display of patriotism in support of veterans. Paradise is a beautiful area. There's a lot of veterans living here."
