4 store clerks in Anderson cited for selling alcohol to minor

Four store clerks in Anderson were cited for selling alcohol to an underage customer.

ANDERSON, Calif. – Four store clerks in Anderson were cited Thursday for selling alcohol to an underage customer.

Redding Police said Thursday night, officers conducted a minor decoy operation. Minor Decoy operations involve minors who work under the direct supervision of officers and attempt to try and buy alcohol.

The following clerks were cited: Jeannie Larue, 48 years of Redding, at the Valero on North St., Nicholas Gill, 20 years of Redding, at the Arco AM/PM on Rhonda Rd., Gregory Conrotto, 60 years of Red Bluff, at the Mike’s Food and Fuel on Ox Yoke Rd., Merrie Johnson, 43 years of Anderson, at the 711 on North St.

Selling alcohol to a minor can bring a minimum fine of $250, and or 24 to 32 hours of community service.
