Crews rescue 6 trapped in flood waters on Lower Honcut Road

Engine 74 and the Swift Water Rescue Team rescued the six people trapped on top of their cars in flooded waters on Lower Honcut Road, near Highway 70.

UPDATE 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 - Engine 74 and the Swift Water Rescue Team rescued the six people trapped on top of their cars in flooded waters on Lower Honcut Road, near Highway 70. 

Cal Fire says that the vehicles will be removed when the water recedes. 

There were no injuries reported.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - There are at least six people on the roofs of three cars trapped in flood waters on Lower Honcut Road.

Firefighters and the Swift Water Rescue team are currently responding to scene on Lower Honcut Road near Highway 70.
