3.2 magnitude earthquake hits Chico

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake shook Chico around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

CHICO, Calif. - You may not have felt it, but a 3.2 magnitude earthquake shook Chico around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

The United States Geological Survey said 3.2 magnitude quake was centered in north Chico, about nine miles from Paradise.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 14.8 miles.

No injuries or damage have been reported due to the quake. 

On Nov. 19, a 3.2 magnitude earthquake hit Hamilton City not too far from Chico.
