21 More Arrests from the ‘Chico Street Crimes Unit’

The Chico Street Crimes Unit arrested 21 more people over the weekend as part of the Chico Police Department’s commitment to arrest people affecting the quality of life.

CHICO, Calif. - The Chico Street Crimes Unit arrested 21 more people over the weekend as part of the Chico Police Department’s commitment to arrest people affecting the quality of life.

According to Chico police, the 21 arrests adds up to a total of 152 people since the program launched six weeks ago.

Officers focus on the one-mile and downtown areas of Chico, the goal of the program is to crack down on habitual offenders committing crimes like car burglaries, drug dealing and bike theft.
