2 suspects arrested in Sunday high-speed chase

Red Bluff Police Department arrested two suspects who led police in a high-speed chase and crashed into a fence and took off on foot.

RED BLUFF, Calif. - Two people were arrested after their vehicle crashed through a fence in Red Bluff after police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Red Bluff Police Department said.

On Sunday, police attempted a traffic stop around 2:30 p.m. for a vehicle code violation.

The man identified the driver as Brandon Bacon, 35, who drove through residential areas at high speeds.

Bacon drove his vehicle into a fence at a local church when three occupants of the vehicle took off on foot.

Police located 33-year-old Amber Scott of Red Bluff who was running from police.

As more officers arrived, people directed officers to locate Bacon who was hiding in a dumpster almost completely under trash.

Two of the three occupants of the vehicle were arrested as the third has not yet been located.

Bacon was arrested for felony eluding, misdemeanor resisting and multiple felony warrants.

Scott was arrested for misdemeanor resisting and possession of drug paraphernalia.
