2 stabbed during fight in south Chico, police searching for suspects

Chico police are searching for suspects after a large fight ended with two people being stabbed in south Chico, according to the police.

CHICO, Calif. – Chico police are searching for suspects after a large fight that ended with two people being stabbed in south Chico, according to the police.

Chico Police said it received multiple 911 calls after a fight broke out just before 11 p.m. Sunday night in the 1900 block of Locust Street.

Officers said they learned a person had been stabbed and was possibly headed to Enloe Medical Center. Once officers arrived on Locust Street, they reported hearing an argument in a small apartment complex and located blood in the parking lot.

Through investigation, officers said they learned a fight had broken out. During the fight, witnesses said two people were stabbed and someone shot off several gunshots. Officers said the victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
