CHICO, Calif. - Two people were arrested after police received information about a possible shoplift at Sportsman's Warehouse in Chico on Monday, according to Chico Police Department.
When officers were arriving, they obtained information the suspect was in possession of a firearm.
The officers located the identified man, Andrew Wilson, standing next to a vehicle and a woman, Catlin Nenadal, in the parking lot. The officers performed a high-risk arrest using a Chico Police K-9 and numerous officers.
Wilson, 38-years-old, was on parole for possession of a controlled substance. After a vehicle search, officers found a large amount of heroin in the vehicle.
Wilson was arrested and taken into custody for seven charges including possession of a firearm by a felon. Police arrested Nenadal on seven charges including possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
