2 North State counties move into orange tier

Glenn and Sutter Counties moved into the state's less-restrictive orange tier on Wednesday, according to California's COVID-19 response website.

CALIFORNIA - Glenn and Sutter Counties moved into the state’s less-restrictive orange tier on Wednesday, according to California's COVID-19 response website.

Glenn County has 2.9 new COVID-19 cases per day per 100,000. The positivity rate is 1.8%.

Sutter County currently has 4.9 new COVID-19 cases per day per 100,000. The positivity rate is 2.5%

Shasta and Tehama counties are two of 13 counties in the state that remained in the more restrictive red tier.
