WILLOWS, Calif. - An 18-year-old Willows father was arrested early Saturday morning during an investigation into the death of his two-month-old daughter.
On Friday the Glenn County Sheriff's Office said they received a 911 call from the 100 block of W. Sycamore Street in Willows stating that the infant was not breathing and CPR was in progress.
She was taken by ambulance to the Willows Airport, and then Enloe Flight Care took her to UC Davis Hospital. The infant died at the hospital at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Friday. According to the Sheriff's Office, the UC Davis nurse reported to them that the death is considered "suspicious."
An arrest of the father, 18-year-old Joshua Jeenan Lee, was made at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday morning said, officers. The charges were for voluntary manslaughter and willful cruelty to a child. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail with a bail set at $110,000
