17-year-old killed in Oroville rollover crash Monday

A 17-year-old male was killed in a rollover crash and another person was injured in Oroville early Monday morning.

OROVILLE, Calif. - A 17-year-old died in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Oroville Monday morning, Oroville Police Department said.

At 2:39 a.m., the Oroville Police Department responded to the crash on Baggett Marysville Road near Georgia Pacific Way.

When officers arrived on the scene they found a 1985 Ford F150 on its side between a tree and a fence.

A 15-year-old passenger called 911 from inside the truck and was taken to the hospital to receive treatment.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

The identification of the 17-year-old will not be released until the family is notified.
