Sixteen people were arrested in Anderson on Friday thanks to some quick thinking officers.
Anderson officers - along with the Shasta County Probation Department and the Shasta County Marshall's Office served warrants along their high crime neighborhoods.

Many of those targeted included people who had failed to appear in court.
The department says although they know many of these offenders won't remain in jail.
They're hoping this sends a message that repeated failures to appear in court wont be tolerated in the city.
