Dale Fire: 800+ Acres burned in Tehama County

Cal Fire says forward progress has stopped in the Dale Fire burning in eastern Tehama County.

TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - UPDATE 11:42 p.m. Cal Fire says the Dale Fire is burning in eastern Tehama County. It is 856 acres and is 30% contained.

Cal Fire says it is burning off Highway 36 and Manton Road.

There are no road closures.

Fire officials say forward progress has stopped.

A 100-acre fire burning in eastern Tehama County is causing some road closures around the Paynes Creek area.

According to Cal Fire Tehama County, firefighters got a call just after 4:30 p.m. about a fire burning north of Highway 36 near Manton Road.

The fire is not threatening any homes at this time, but some road closures are in effect.

Firefighters first had the fire at 50 acres but quickly grew 50 more acres.
