UPDATE: Forward Progress Stopped on Fire on Highway 70 in Butte County

There has been a fire reported off Highway 70 near Table Mountain north of Oroville.

UPDATE: 6/14/2018 3:56 p.m.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif.—According to Cal Fire Butte County Twitter page forward progress on the fire has been stopped.
The fire burned 15 acres.

Firefighters are now establishing fire lines and mopping up hot spots.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Firefighters are on scene of a vegetation fire.

According to Cal Fire Butte County Twitter page the fire has burned 10 acres.
