CORNING, Calif. - One person was hospitalized after a suspected hit-and-run crash near the Woodson Bridge in Corning.
Corning police received a 911 call around 1:34 p.m. Friday. The caller told authorities that a truck and a Toyota Camry were involved in a crash.

Police said one of the drivers was intoxicated and attempted to leave the scene.
Tehama County sheriff's deputies, Corning police and the California Highway Patrol responded to the incident. A K-9 officer was able to find the suspect about a quarter-mile away from the scene of the crash.
The suspect was arrested and now faces hit-and-run charges.
A woman in the other vehicle was injured and transported to Enloe Medical Center.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and said they will speak to three witnesses.
