BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - Action News Now is compiling a list of organizations and groups providing Thanksgiving meals and resources for those in need.

Chico

#ThanksgivingTogether - When: Thursday, November 22, 2018

Seating Times: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
• Bell Memorial Union Auditorium at Chico State (West Second and Chestnut streets, Chico)
• Sutter Dining Hall at Chico State (Warner Street and Legion Avenue, Chico)
• Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. (1075 East 20th Street, Chico)

Freese's Exhaust - 2306 Park Avenue, Chico 

The muffler shop is giving away 24 cooked turkeys on Thanksgiving for Camp Fire evacuees and those in need. 

When: Starting at 1 p.m. on Nov. 22 


Jesus Center - 1297 Park Ave, Chico
The church is hosting a Thanksgiving meal for all those in need.

When: Thursday, Nov. 21, from 12 - 4 p.m.

Salvation Army Distribution Center - 110 Marauder Street, Chico

This free Thanksgiving dinner is being served at the Salvation Army's Distribution Center in Chico. They are accepting donations as well and looking for volunteers. 

When: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22

27th Annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade - Azad's Martial Arts Center (313 Walnut St #150, Chico)

Evacuees of the Camp Fire staying at the center will be putting together baskets and delivering them to people's homes around 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. 

Mom's Restaurant - 209 Salem Street, Chico 

This free Thanksgiving dinner is put on by Napa Valley BFF and Copia out of San Francisco and is open to all victims and evacuees of the Camp Fire.

When: 12 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21

Morning Thunder Cafe - 352 Vallombrosa Avenue, Chico 

This free Thanksgiving dinner is put on by Napa Valley BFF and Copia out of San Francisco and is open to all victims and evacuees of the Camp Fire.

When: 12 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21

Evangelic Church of Chico - 1193 Filbert Avenue, Chico 

This free Thanksgiving dinner is put on by Napa Valley BFF and Copia out of San Francisco and is open to all victims and evacuees of the Camp Fire.

Oroville

El Mendio Fire Department - 3515 Myers St, Oroville

They are providing a community-wide Thanksgiving dinner banquet hosted by the Oroville Rescue Mission. They are accepting evacuees, volunteers and anybody in need. 

When: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21

Southside Community Resource Center - 2959 Lower Wyandotte Rd, Oroville

They are providing a Thanksgiving meal and also looking for volunteers. 

When: Starting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22

Oroville Municipal Auditorium - 1200 Meyer Street Oroville 

This free Thanksgiving dinner is put on by Napa Valley BFF and Copia out of San Francisco and is open to all victims and evacuees of the Camp Fire.

Orland

Orland Grange #432 - 210 Walker Street, Orland

Offering a free Thanksgiving meal for everyone including evacuees, first responders, and more. Volunteers are also welcomed. 

When: 2 - 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22 

Donations are available at this location.

Gridley

Veterans Memorial Hall - 267 Sycamore St, Gridley

Thanksgiving event open to anyone from 10 a.m. -3 p.m. on Nov. 22 (might go longer)

Durham

Durham Memorial Hall - 9319 Midway, Durham 

Offering a free Thanksgiving meal for evacuees affected by the Camp Fire. 

When: 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m.
