CHICO, Calif. – The City of Chico has a little more time to come up with a solution for the homeless shelter compromise.
The city and the plaintiffs both signed an agreement asking for an extra three weeks. Monday, the judge agreed and extended the deadline to June 11.
Mayor Andrew Coolidge said the six Ad Hoc meetings provided a lot of useful information to inform their decision. Coolidge said the city council will discuss options at a closed session after next Tuesday’s meeting.
