The Butte Strong Fund has granted over $800,000 to reduce the cost of septic repair and replacement for those rebuilding in the Camp Fire area.

Paradise does not have a sewer system, and for some, the cost of replacing a septic system is a hurdle towards rebuilding. The grant will provide up to $7,500 depending on income level for septic repair or replacement.

The Butte Strong Fund estimates that the grant will help more than 200 families. Click here to apply.

Temperatures are staying cool, but gusty north winds will drive high fire danger across northern California on Tuesday. Breezy north winds, warmer temperatures, and dry conditions are ahead for your Wednesday. We'll stay dry and get even warmer from late this week through this weekend.
