Carr Fire: Evacuations lifted in some areas

A small bit of good news from the devastating Carr Fire, some areas' evacuation orders have been lifted and the residents of these streets can go home, according to the Shasta County Sheriff's Office.

A small bit of good news from the devastating Carr Fire, some areas' evacuation orders have been lifted and the residents of these streets can go home, according to the Shasta County Sheriff's Office. 

Homes on the following streets in the Redding Ranchette Subdivision have been re-opened:  

* Canyon Road

* Ranchette Drive

* Prospectors Road

* Copper Drive

* Valley View Road

* Silverado Drive

* Windsor Lane

* Redbank Road

All other evacuations remain in effect. Meanwhile, Haven Humane Society shelter location at the Factory Outlet Stores in Anderson has been activated to being accepting small animals that have been evacuated due to the Carr Fire. The shelter is located at 1816 CA-273
