Fire south of Willows stopped at 109 acres

California Department of Fish and Wildlife said the forward progress of the fire burning south of Willows was stopped.

GLENN COUNTY, Calif.- The forward progress of the fire burning south of Willows has been stopped at 109 acres, according to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. 

CAL FIRE said they received a call at 9 a.m about a report of a fire. 

County Rd. 99 West has reopened and County Rd. 68 from Interstate-5 to Colusa County line remains closed as of 3:15 p.m., according to the Glenn County Sheriff's Office.

Firefighters remain at the scene to control and mop up the fire.
