Flames destroy home north of Oroville

Two people are now displaced from their home north of Oroville after a fire completely destroyed their house on Monday evening.

OROVILLE, Calif. - Two people are now displaced from their home north of Oroville after a fire completely destroyed their house on Monday evening.

The fire was reported approximately at 7:04 p.m. at the 200 block of Oregon Gulch Road.

When firefighters arrived at the building, described as a modular home, it was completely engulfed in flames.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

CAL FIRE remained on the scene for a few hours to mop up the area.
