Fire in Palermo burns nearly 3 acres

CAL FIRE is investigating what caused a fire to break out in Palermo.

OROVILLE, Calif. – CAL FIRE is investigating what caused a fire to break out in Palermo.

The fire broke out around 7 p.m. and burned about two and a half acres in the area of Palermo Road and Martha Lane.

CAL FIRE crews stopped the flames within 30 minutes. No structures were burned, and no was injured.
