Crews on scene of one-acre vegetation fire in north Oroville

Firefighters will be at the scene of a one-acre vegetation fire in north Oroville for a couple of hours, working on full control.

OROVILLE, Calif. – Firefighters will be at the scene of a one-acre vegetation fire in north Oroville for a couple of hours, working on full control.

Around 3:30 p.m. Monday, CAL FIRE said they were on scene of a vegetation fire in Oroville near Lakeland Blvd. Nearly 10 minutes later, CAL FIRE said via Twitter it is holding at an acre and aircraft have been released.

Crews have a hose around the fire. No structures are threatened and no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
