Crews quickly put out vegetation fire in Redding

A vegetation fire is now out after burning near Highway 44 by Tarmac Road in Redding.

REDDING, Calif. – A vegetation fire is now out after burning near Highway 44 and Tarmac Road in Redding.

SHASCOM said they got a call about the fire just after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. Redding firefighters rushed on the scene and were able to quickly extinguish the flames.

Action News Now is working to learn what caused this fire.
