UPDATE 11:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 - All schools in Butte County will be out of school the week of Nov. 12-16 due to air quality and staff members displaced by the Camp Fire
According to Jim Hanlon, assistant superintendent for Chico Unified School District, there are 120 staff members in the district displaced by the Camp Fire. Air quality is also a top concern.

Willows Unified School District
Willows Unified School District is shutting down on Nov. 9 at 11:30 a.m.
Chico Unified School District
The Chico Unified School District has closed all schools and classes from Nov. 8-9 due to the Camp Fire
Chico State
Chico State is closed until Nov. 26.
Los Molinos Unified School District
Los Molinos Unified School District Schools will be closed on Nov. 9 due to many teachers and staff living in parts of evacuation orders.
Butte College
Butte College's main campus in Oroville is closed Nov. 8 and 9. Classes schedule tonight at the Chico Center, Skyway Center and Cosmetology Center are canceled Nov. 8 and 9. The Glenn Center will remain open. The College's main campus is being used as a staging area for Cal Fire.
