Camp Fire Candlelight Vigil To Be Held in Chico on Sunday

A candlelight vigil will be held Sunday at a Chico church to commemorate victims of the Camp Fire.

CHICO, Calif. - Paradise, Magalia, and other residents from the Highway 70 corridor impacted by the Camp Fire are all invited to a vigil Sunday that will be held at a Chico church. The vigil will be held at the First Christian Church of Chico at 295 E. Washington Avenue. The hours are 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. You are asked to bring photos or mEmentos of lost friends, family and pets. Counselors and mental health experts will be available. A short candlelight vigil will be held the first ten minutes of each hour.

Dense fog has developed across parts of northern California Monday morning and the potential for light showers will return today.
