PALERMO, Calif. – Cal Fire is investigating the cause of a fire that burned a building in Palermo on Monday.
The fire broke out around 11 a.m. on the 3427 block of Oro Bangor Highway. Firefighters said they arrived to find the structure well engulfed in flames. It had also begun spreading to a small area of vegetation.


Crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to other buildings. Around 11:55 a.m., the fire in the structure has been suppressed, according to Cal Fire. Units remained on the scene gaining full control for a few hours after. There were no injuries.
