Teddy Fire in Bangor reaches 80% containment

UPDATE: 10 p.m., Thursday, June 18, 2020 - At 10 p.m. the fire has reached 80% containment and has been mapped out to 13.4-acres.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - Cal Fire crews said the Teddy Fire in Bangor has reached 80% containment and mapped out to 13.4 acres.

Around 7:20 p.m. crews were able to stop forward progress on the fire. Four outbuildings were destroyed, one home was damaged, and multiple vehicles were destroyed. One civilian was injured, according to Cal Fire.

Officials say it started on Teddy Lane where the first engine on scene reported a fully involved mobile home.
