Voter Assistance Centers open Oct. 31 in Butte County

The Voter Assistance Centers in Butte County will open on Saturday, Oct. 31.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - The Voter Assistance Centers in Butte County will open on Saturday, Oct. 31.

At the center of your choice, you can drop off your voted ballot, get a replacement ballot, get a ballot or assistance with your ballot, update your voter registration and vote the same day. You may also vote in person. The county's registrar of voters recommends voting early, including weekends, and to avoid lines.

Stronger winds and low humidity over dry fuels will result in very high fire danger across northern California Wednesday and Thursday. We'll be very hot Wednesday, but a welcome drop in high temperatures is ahead for Thursday. Smoke will continue to bring big impacts to our air quality over the next several days, and temperatures will heat back up from Friday into Saturday.
