WASHINGTON, D.C. - Northern California Congressional Representative Doug LaMalfa is making headlines for what he said during a heated exchange with anchor Chris Cuomo from CNN.
The Republican lawmaker from Butte County was one of 126 Republicans who supported an unsuccessful bid by Texas to overturn presidential election results in four states.
LaMalfa told Cuomo he would accept Joe Biden's win when his hand is on the Bible taking the oath of office.
When questioned about whether or not LaMalfa has or has seen proof of election fraud, the Congressmember said he did not see the landing on the moon, causing the CNN anchor to ask if he was a flat earther.
The two also discussed what is happening in order to have the federal legislature provide additional Covid-19 relief for U.S. citizens.
The interview with Congressmember LaMalfa and CNN's Chris Cuomo is split into two segments. They are both attached to this story.
