New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes will play their postponed game from Tuesday on Feb. 25.
Hazardous weather conditions in Buffalo forced the contest to be postponed.
The new date of Feb. 25 is actually the final day of the league's break for the Winter Olympics. The two teams and the NHL Players Association were consulted before the NHL made its decision.
Faceoff for the rescheduled contest will be 7 p.m. ET.
