A's, Crisp agree to 2-year extension

Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Athletics agreed to terms with outfielder Coco Crisp on a two-year contract extension with a club option for 2017.

The 34-year-old Crisp, who will enter his fifth season with the A's, hit .261 with a career-high 22 homers, 66 RBI and 21 stolen bases over 131 games for the AL West champions last season.

Crisp is a career .272 hitter with 108 homers, 531 RBI and 278 stolen bases over 12 years with the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Kansas City Royals and Oakland.
