Yuba City police searching for bank robbery suspect

The Yuba City Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the man who robbed a Tri Counties Bank Friday.

Just before 1 p.m., the Yuba City Police Department received a robbery call at the Tri Counties Bank inside the Onstott Road Raley's.

According to police, the man entered the store and waited for a teller, once he was called to the counter, he walked up and opened his wallet. He presented the teller with a handwritten note demanding cash.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store on foot and ran southbound towards Toys R Us.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old, around 5 feet 7 inches with blonde hair.
