The family of a Texas man killed two years ago while working on a crop duster landing strip in Biggs has filed wrongful death suit in Butte Superior Court.
The accident happened May 9, 2013 when 66-year-old Willie Suarez was working for an asphalt company, making repairs on the airstrip owned by Williams Ag Services.
While Suarez was working a crop duster came in for a landing and struck Suarez with a propeller, killing him instantly.
Suarez left Texas for Butte County specifically for the airstrip repair job and left behind a wife and 17-year-old daughter. The complaint does not specify damages sought by the family.
