General George Washington Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution laid wreaths for fallen soldiers here in the north state today this morning at the Glen-Oaks Memorial Cemetery, a national celebration of honoring our Veteran’s during the holiday season.
The celebration was held at 9:00 a.m. this morning with the help of the Durham Boy Scouts Troop 16 who laid more than 100 wreaths to veterans.
Similar events took place in Corning, Calif. and Igo, Calif. this morning.
Many volunteers placed more than 100,000 headstones of veterans at the Arlington National Cemetery.
