Tiger Woods’ half-brother was arrested last night after “jokingly” calling in a bomb threat.

Last night Phoenix Police Officers responded to a Department of Economic Security Building in Phoenix, Ariz., for a reported bomb threat. The front desk attendant told officers the caller stated he had a bomb and was going to blow up the building. The building was evacuated as a precaution.

As officers searched the building, 58-year-old Earl Dennison Woods reportedly came forward to the building’s management and admitted he was the one who called in the threat, stating it was “done as a joke.” Woods made the same admission to Phoenix Police Officers, according to the department's press release.

Woods was arrested for one count of using an electronic communication device to terrify, intimidate, threaten or harass, a class one misdemeanor.
