Tara Ann Ingraham, of Gilroy was arrested Thursday after she attempted to steal a pick-up truck during a test drive, with her two-month-old child in the vehicle
Ingraham, 29, stole a black 2004 Ford F-250 from Super Shopper Auto Sales during a test drive on Thursday. Ingraham test drove the truck once with a sales person and came back later saying her father was going to buy the truck, but he just wanted to check it out in person a few miles down the road. Ingraham left her license at the dealership, took the truck and never returned.
She was later arrested and booked into Glenn County Jail for stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property and an outstanding felony warrant from Texas.
The pick-up truck was returned to Super Shop Auto Sales.
The two-month-old child was released into the care of CPS.
