A woman is able to walk away from a rollover crash on Interstate 5 near Orland this morning.
It happened near the road 16 exit just before 6 a.m. CHP officials say a woman driving a Pontiac Grand Prix was driving in the right hand lane heading south when she looked down to grab her coffee. When the woman looked back up she reportedly saw a big rig in front of her had put on its brake lights and was slowing down.
CHP officials say the woman swerved to the left to try and avoid colliding with the big rig, causing her car to overturn. The vehicle clipped the truck in the process and went through some bushes in the median before landing on the north side of the freeway.
The woman was uninjured, but her car was totaled and had to be towed from the scene.
